The U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee held a hearing on Oct. 29, 2025, titled "The Future of Biotech: Maintaining U.S. Competitiveness and Delivering Lifesaving Cures to Patients.” 黑料正能量sent a letter in advance of the hearing highlighting the increasing demand for microbiome-based therapeutics, inoculants and supplements, and emphasized the need to clarify and streamline microbial product regulations.

Congress must work together to open the government and fund federal research by passing full-year appropriations legislation that provides robust funding for federal science research and public health programs. A shutdown risks undermining public health and scientific advancement, and inconsistent or postponed funding also deprives the American people of the necessary services that federal agencies provide.
