Melvilí (Mel) Cintrón, Ph.D., D(ABMM), is a board-certified microbiologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She is the program director of the CPEP clinical microbiology fellowship program. Cintrón is passionate about science education and engaging students in the microbiology field. Having grown up in the restaurant business, she is a foodie and enjoys cooking in her spare time.
