Position Overview

Formerly known as the ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿Conference on Rapid Applied Microbial Next-Generation Sequencing and Bioinformatic Pipelines (ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿NGS), the ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿Bioinformatics, Genomics, and Big Data Conference (ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿BIG) is where cutting-edge microbial science meets powerful data-driven innovation. Taking place Oct. 11–14, 2026, in Washington, D.C., this premier meeting brings together scientists, clinicians and data experts from around the world to explore how genomics and bioinformatics are transforming health, industry and the environment. From decoding microbial communities to shaping public health strategies, ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿BIG offers the insights, tools and connections you need to accelerate discovery and apply big data to real-world challenges.

The ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿BIG Program Committee is responsible for organizing the scientific program. The ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿Meetings Department seeks to fill the position of 4 program committee members, including:

• 3 established scientists.
• 1 early career scientist.
