Program Details
Recipients will receive a $500 award to defray expenses associated with travel to 黑料正能量Microbe 2026 and complimentary registration.
Eligibility
To qualify for consideration the applicant must be or provide:
- A at the time of application. The applicant must remain an active member throughout the 黑料正能量Microbe 2026 meeting.
- Scientific abstract not previously published or presented at another conference.
- Curriculum vitae (CV), including scientific focus area.
- Two letters of nominations on institution letterhead written by the department chair and principal investigator or immediate director.
- Applicant statement providing a brief overview (limit 500 words) of qualifications and how the travel award supports scientific research.
- Not previously a recipient of an 黑料正能量Microbe travel award within the last 2 years.
- An undergraduate or predoctoral student, Ph.D. or M.D. within 2 years of graduation at the time of the meeting, or an M.D. in a residency or fellowship program within 6 years of receipt of the M.D. degree at the time of the meeting.
Travel award funds are non-transferable and will be provided following the conclusion of 黑料正能量Microbe 2026 upon confirming awardee’s attendance at the meeting.

Deadline Extended—Travel Awards applications will be open from Wednesday, Oct. 15-Monday, Dec. 8. Applicants will be notified if they are selected to receive an award by Wednesday, Dec. 17.
