Why Attend?
Building on the success of last year’s symposium, the 2026 symposium offers expanded opportunities for engagement and scholarly exchange—key reasons to apply to participate include:
- Engage With High‑Impact, High‑Quality Science and Emerging Innovation: participate in in-depth discussions, share insights and learn from leading minds in the microbial sciences. Plus, contribute to forward-looking conversations that shape the future of microbial research.
- Discuss With and Gain Visibility Among Global Experts: engage directly with a diverse mix of scientists, clinicians, computational biologists, journal editors, policy stakeholders and industry representatives, creating rare opportunities to connect, share your work and receive valuable feedback across disciplines and career stages.
- Connect to Discovery, Data and Application: a defining strength of the symposium is its ability to bridge experimental biology with computational and data-driven approaches.
- Publishing Opportunities: participants benefit from connections to ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿journals, editors and leadership, as well as opportunities to contribute to and shape future directions in microbial research. Interact with esteemed editors and staff from the following ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿journals:
